The Planning Board meets at 7:00pm on the third Monday of every month in the 2nd floor court room located at the Franklin Borough Municipal Building, 46 Main Street, Franklin, NJ 07416.
*If the third Monday falls on a municipal holiday, then the meeting will be held on the following evening.
Master Plan
The planning board creates the master plan for the community and revises it every ten years.
Proposed Laws
The planning board reviews proposed laws, or ordinances, to ensure the community's orderly growth and development.
Site Plans
The planning board approves site plans, proposals for development or subdivision, and the layout of streets and highways.
Variances
The planning board grants variances from municipal ordinances.
TCC Meetings
The planning board implemented these informal, pre-application meetings to streamline the application process.

A copy of this resolution shall be posted on the Franklin Borough Municipal Building Bulletin Board, and copies of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Official Newspapers, namely the New Jersey Herald and the New Jersey Sunday Herald, located in Newton, NJ, as well as the Clerk of the Borough of Franklin. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
The Reorganization Meeting for 2025 will be held on January 21, 2025 at 7:15 PM, followed by the regular meeting of the Franklin Borough Planning Board at 7:30 PM on January 21, 2025.
