DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

Franklin Borough is seeking qualified candidates for FT positions within the DPW for its Water & Sewer Utilities Operations and Maintenance. Responsibilities will primarily include water & wastewater utilities repairs/maintenance. Employee will at times be required to assist in roads & drainage systems; buildings & grounds; and snow removal. Water/wastewater Licensing and related is preferred or willing to train qualified candidates. (Associated Schooling may be required)
CDL Class B/Class A pref. Snow plowing exp. and the ability to operate heavy equipment (front end loaders, backhoes, mowers and tractors). Some Buildings maintenance and carpentry may be involved. Overtime/on call may be required. FT benefits and contracted salary, based on experience/work history. Contract Salary Range Full Time $19.18 - $35.39 / Additional Compensation for CDL Licensed persons.
